Refund and Return Policy

At Vanguard PC, we are committed to providing high-quality products and customer satisfaction. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are here to assist with returns and refunds in accordance with South African consumer protection laws.

1. Returns Eligibility

  • Timeframe: You have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
  • Condition: The item must be in its original packaging, unused, and in the same condition as received. Items that show signs of use, tampering, or missing parts may not be eligible for return.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required to process any return or refund.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Downloadable software products.
  • Gift cards or promotional vouchers.
  • Opened or used consumable goods such as thermal pastes and adhesives.
  • Customized or special order items (such as custom-built PCs).
  • Items that have been physically damaged by the customer.

3. Return Process

  • Step 1: Contact our customer service team at support@vanguardpc.co.za or to request a return authorization.
  • Step 2: Upon approval, you will be provided with return instructions and shipping details. The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
  • Step 3: Once we receive the returned item, it will be inspected to ensure it meets the return criteria. Please allow up to 7 business days for inspection and processing.

4. Refunds

  • Method of Refund: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal) within 10 business days after the return is approved.
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective product, wrong item shipped).
  • Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 10% may apply to returns that are not defective or incorrect.

5. Defective or Damaged Items

  • If the product is found to be faulty or damaged within 3 months of the purchase date, we will arrange for a replacement or full refund. Please contact us immediately if your product arrives damaged or faulty, and we will assist in resolving the issue at no additional cost.

REFUND POLICY

Vanguard PC Watercooling Warranty & Returns Policy

Vanguard PC Watercooling products that are purchased directly from vanguardpc.co.za may be returned by the customer in accordance with the Vanguard PC Watercooling “Return Policy”:

  • Products with a return request for credit due to incorrect purchase decisions must be received within 7 days of the invoice date in an unaltered and undamaged state. Only the packaging can be opened, and the product must not show any signs of use. The customer will be charged up to a 15% restocking fee if processing costs occur during reprocessing at Vanguard PC Watercooling.
  • Vanguard PC Watercooling will not demand a restocking fee for returned products that are defective. A qualified Vanguard PC Watercooling technician will test each returned product for defects and issue appropriate action as agreed with the customer via the RMA communication at support@vanguardpc.co.za.
  • The warranty is void if a product has been tampered with in a way it was not designed for. Misuse, modification, or handling damage (i.e., dropping) will void any warranty. Returned items must be in “like new” condition. Returns will not be accepted without an authorized email requesting shipping to the warehouse, which is valid for 7 days after being issued.
  • When the RMA request is opened, it is mandatory for the customer to send good-quality photos or video where the damage or faulty function is clearly visible/audible via email to support@vanguardpc.co.za.

Vanguard PC Watercooling products that are purchased directly from vanguardpc.co.za may be swapped out or refunded in accordance with the Vanguard PC Watercooling “Warranty Policy”:

  • The regular warranty covers pump failures or anything else that might happen in regular-use scenarios. This warranty acts as a manufacturing warranty intended to cover manufacturing defects of the product itself. Therefore, the warranty will be void by opening a pump or water block (CPU, GPU, and Distribution) even for maintenance and cleaning.
  • While most water-cooling manufacturers offer 1 year of warranty or less, Vanguard PC Watercooling offers a market-leading 2-year warranty (unless specified otherwise or on specific products please email for clarification) to show confidence in the quality of our products.

Payments & Refunds, Shipping Charges for Returns & Warranties

  • Vanguard PC Watercooling provides shipping to the sender only. Unless otherwise noted, shipping on products and returns is nonrefundable, and returning a product comes at the expense of the customer.

Damaged Items During Delivery

All shipping packages are insured. If you receive a damaged package, you must notify us immediately by e-mail. Sending back damaged merchandise voids the shipping insurance, and no credit will be given. Damaged packages must be held for up to several days with the original packaging for courier company inspection. Once resolved, we will send you new products at the courier’s expense.

  • Customers will be responsible for return shipping charges on merchandise. The customer is responsible for shipping the product back. This is analogous to paying for fuel to drive a product back to a store to return it.
  • Please ship using a carrier that provides a tracking number and proof of delivery. We will not be responsible for items lost by the carrier. Valid proof of delivery must include the receipt signature of an authorized employee.
