Extensive assembly options
There are two basic mounting options that can be used in a variety of ways. The Eisbecher Aurora glass expansion tank comes with feet for mounting on the bottom of the case, for example. The scope of delivery also includes mounting frames with which the Eisbecher Aurora can be mounted on any 120 or 140 mm fan slot. This of course also makes it possible to mount it directly on the radiator or on the radiator’s fans.

Digital RGB lighting
A total of 12 aRGB LEDs illuminate the glass tube of the expansion tank. They are arranged in a ring at the lower end of the glass tube and cannot be seen from the outside. The illumination is particularly strong at the bottom and decreases gradually towards the top. In combination with the Lighttower water effect, a very special type of illumination is achieved. In particular through the reflections in the real glass. The digital RGB LEDs are connected via a 3-pin JST connector, as with all Alphacool products. Other Alphacool digital RGB products can be connected directly via the Y adapter.

Lighttower water effect
A special water effect is created in the Aurora ice cream bowl via the riser tubes. If you do not fill the expansion tank beyond the upper edge of the riser tube, you get a kind of fountain effect. The water is pushed out of the sides of the riser tube and sprayed against the glass tube. The effect is stronger or weaker depending on the flow of the circuit. There is one riser tube with this effect at the lower inlet and one at the upper inlet.
